Two Jack Lake transforms into a tranquil winter wonderland. It's a serene spot for ice skating or simply taking in the stunning winter scenery. The stillness of the area, combined with the crunch of snow underfoot and the crisp, cold air, makes it a perfect escape for those seeking peace and solitude amid nature's beauty.
Just a short drive away, Lake Minnewanka offers its own unique winter charm. The expansive glacial lake, with parts of it frozen solid, becomes a playground for visitors. The snow-covered mountains that frame the lake provide a dramatic backdrop, and the history of the submerged village beneath the icy surface adds a touch of mystery to your winter exploration.
The Town of Banff is beautiful at night, as the lights shine in the snow, the odd deer or elk run through the streets and of course the shops are open late. You'll have the option to get dropped off at your hotel or downtown to hang out on Banff Avenue where you just might spot Big Foot somewhere!
If you're not staying in Banff then we'll bring you back to your Downtown Calgary hotel at the end of the tour.
